Yasmin Mushtari Is Judging the Next Generation—and Archiving the One That Came Before

Veteran Nazrul singer Yasmin Mushtari has joined singer Sumi Sharmin as a judge for a Bangladesh Shishu Academy competition. Mushtari’s own digital archive, launched in 2025, adds another layer to the story: women artists are not only making culture, but increasingly taking responsibility for preserving their own record
