BUET Gets a Sanitary-Pad Vending Machine. Menstrual Access Should Be Standard Campus Infrastructure

Female students and staff at BUET’s Materials and Metallurgical Engineering department can now buy sanitary pads through a mobile-payment vending machine. One machine will not solve period poverty—but it shows how universities can make menstruation an ordinary infrastructure issue rather than an emergency women manage privately.
